Questions & Answers On How To Work From Home For Real

Susan asks…

Why is it so hard to find a real work from home job? And why are there so many scammers out there?

A job… It is what I want and what I need. But going out and looking in my community is not a very possible option right now. I get so excited every time that I see what claims to be a “legit work from your home job.” But every single time that I really look into what I find, it was either a rare offer for one person or a scam of some sort. How can these “businesses” live with themselves taking advantage of people like me who really need a job and are willing to work hard? And are there any real entry level work from home jobs in the US? … Something that actually pays you by the hour for the work that you do rather than just giving you a small commission if you are lucky enough to bring them a customer?

admin answers:

It really depends on what sort of skills you have. My dad has a computer and basically makes a very tough living (it is hard work) working from home. He does all this fancy IT stuff and designing and trying to win audit contracts etc. He does it. You pretty much have to work for yourself if you wanna work at home.

How do I find real people who want a real opportunity to work from home in the travel Industry?

I’m looking for real answers from real people looking for real opportunity’s !!! Not adolescent minds, sarcastic remarks that don’t know how to see if something is real or not!

admin answers:

I would think that if you put an ad in the newspaper you would find a lot of people looking for opportunities to work from home.
Do you think that people don’t answer such ads because they think it’s just too good to be true. You’d have to find a way to convince them that this opportunity is for real.

Chris asks…

Davina asks…

how can i work from home for real?

We receive thousands of emails each day about working from home, and i really would like to work from home. I’m looking for English-Arabic translation or vice-verse jobs, as well as editing, data entry, book keeping etc jobs.
I mean all websites ask for advance fees, but how can we be sure that once they take our money, we will get something in return!
Can anyone help with really good ways i can start working from home but without paying anything in advance cause i really can’t afford so…

admin answers:

Hi!

I work from home for few years now. The company is legit and has been on the market since 1999. They pay me every time – no issues! You can start for free and work whenever you have time.

But, if you decide to work from your home (online), you need somebody to show you what do you have to do, otherwise u will do too many unnecessary things.

I started on my own, and I was not making any progress for quite a while.

Anyway than I joined this program and I got really good sponsor. He showed me everything I needed to know. And now, I’m passing it forward… http://www.globaldomainsbiz.org

Ken asks…

Are there any REAL work from home jobs that don’t make you pay first?

Does anyone actually KNOW and by know I mean does it themselves or is best friends/immediately family with someone who does it for a living and makes substantial money…? I’d love to know if there is actually one that didn’t make you pay them $100 for a book about how to like sell property in Aruba or something. I am the ultimate skeptic about this, but am a stay-at-home-mom who’d really like to find something that’s for real to do…

admin answers:

Yes. There are about a million – legitimate -suggestions to this on Yahoo Answers, which is your question. It would be redundant to repost everything here.

Mixed into each one of these answers are some of the same folks who are trying to get you to spend money. The scam is basically that they stay at home, looking for folks like you to pay them money to work at home, then, you do the same.

Good luck!

Questions & Answers On How To Work From Home With A Baby

Graham asks…

How can I work from home? Please give me answers!?

I work 40 hrs a week, work very hard and like my job, I am married and want to plan to have a baby. I sincerely want to be a stay at home mom but we wouldn’t be able to pay all of our bills if I didn’t work too. My husband doesn’t want to have a baby unless I can stay at home with her or him. What can we do so we can live happily ever after?

admin answers:

Helena asks…

What are some GOOD work from home opportunities?

And how do you go about getting involved? I ask b/c I’ll want to stay home with my child as long as possible after the baby‘s born – but I still need a reliable income.

admin answers:

The best opportunities out there are home based business’s.
There are so many home based business opportunities out there. You’ll have to check around and find the one that is right for you.
My husband and I started our home based business over 6 years ago. The income opportunity is incredible. It well supports our family. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1. We went this route for probably the same reason why your looking into working out of your home. A child’s first 5 years is the most impressionable. Being able to dedicate most of your time in raising and nurturing is important. Do you know what your having?

We got involved in the telecommunications industry. We get paid a percentage of everyone’s telecommunications bills. Every time someone pays one of the cellular phone bills (from all the major cellular phone carriers), or their land lines, Internet, Satellite T.V., digital, video and VOIP bills, we get a percentage month after month, year after year. How many people do you know or know of that uses any of these services around the world? How would you like to be able to save people money on services that they are already using and every month they pay their bills, you make a percentage off their payment? There’s a lot of money in this industry.
If you’d like more information in this industry, feel free to email me.
I created a blog on my 360 page on home based business’s. There are over half a dozen different ones on there. Your more then welcome to take a look at it. I hope this helps you with a few ideas.

Thomas asks…

Hi, I am a stay at home mom looking for opportunites to work from home and not having to pay money to get scam

Hi, I am a 25 year old stay at mom of 3. WE ARE LIVING ON A VERY TIGHT INCOME. My husband is the only one working. I am looking to work from home and I have had no success in finding legitimate work that doesn’t require putting tons of money into and that isn’t a scam. Any helpful advice on working from home that requires no money for me to pay and that is totally legit? WE are broker than broke and I need to find something. My 3 month old was born with some heart problems which put our family in the position of me not being able to return to work due to her not being able to attend daycare. Which as any mother could relate, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my baby with heart problems in a daycare to begin with. I have worked at Bank of America as a teller for two years and I worked as a hazard insurance processor for a little over a year. This is some of the experience I have had in the working field. I do know how to type, customer service, hard worker, willing to learn. Please help

admin answers:

Just be careful of all the scams out there. I have been getting a lot of spam email lately from people from other countries wanting me to cash their checks. Avoid those at all costs, because there is no guarantee that the checks are legit and if they do indeed bounce, they go after the casher and not the person that wrote it.

Anyway, the best approach is to use your skills in a way that you would in any other job, except you are in essence self-employed. If you are a somewhat fast typist, you could probably place an ad at the local college or in the paper or on a site like CraigsList offering to type (not write!!) term papers and resumes and such for students. Another option is tutoring if you have any background in doing that.
If you like dogs/cats, even birds and other pets and are not allergic, pet sitting/walking seems to be a rapidly growing business. I know a lady that does that for extra income.
Good luck.

Jemima asks…

how can i work from home?

wanting to work from home so i can stay with my baby, i dont want to make tons, just a couple hundred a month, dont want to pay anything up front and want something legit, im in the east texas area if that helps

admin answers:

Well if you don’t want to pay anything up front you can go for one of those “get rich scams” that are all over the net. The best way to work from home is to take medical transcirpition training where you can earn either a degree or a certificate. Howver it costs money for the training as they are acutal classes you take online from home. (vocational training courses) After you have passed the course you can contact the doctor and dental offices in your area and find out which one’s “outsource” their billing and their record updating and offer your services. But you can’t get the training without spending money.

Marie asks…

Moms who went back to work after having a baby…I would like your input?

Dear Moms,

I am 6 months pregnant and financially will need to work after I have the baby. I will only be able to take 6 weeks off. I’m going to try to take 3 months off…but we will see. I am in private practice, so if I don’t work, I don’t get paid…no vacation time for me :( I haven’t found a way to work from home, so my work will have to take place out of the home. How many moms went back to work after only 6 to 12 weeks and how did it go? Was it full time? Did you get a nanny or drop your baby at a daycare? I am a little sad when I see moms with their babies because I want to be home with my baby, but need the $$$. Suggestions from the moms who made it work and still had plenty of time for the baby? What were your hours? Long hours?

admin answers:

Hi!

I spent 3 months at home with my first daughter and 10 months at home with my second before they each went to a daycare center. My stepson had gone to the same daycare, as well as the kids’ cousins so we knew what they were about. I am going to be very honest with you-everyone will tell you that it’s harder on you than it is on them and that’s true x 100. They’ll cry at first, and god knows you will too.

But here I am, with a 16 month old and a four year old, daycare kids through and through.

But daycare won’t raise your kids, you will.

My older daughter is an angel. Daycare didn’t teach her to be good, but her goodness translates there. She has BUDDIES> Like, girls she is tight with from babyhood. Two were just over here Sunday. And she is learning so much-she would be ready for Kindergarten now, no kidding. They teach letters, phonics, all the basics.

It’s fun for them. And when I see them every evening (I work the typical 9-5) the time we spend is just awesome. Weekends are great too-I don’t feel pressure to “make up” for time lost during the week-we hav just settled into a life where this is just normal for them and my husband and I and it’s just all good, so far.

I don’t know, I hope one person’s success story helped you feel better. Some days it’s still hard, but overall,w e are doing what i sright for our family.

Questions & Answers On How To Work From Home Successfully

Lynn asks…

Has anyone successfully gone from a dark hue to a lighter hue of a different tone?

I don’t really want to do this at the moment but maybe when the summer comes back around I might want to go back to my natural color which is a very ashy medium almost greyish blonde. Right now it is a very dark burgundy. It doesn’t really matter what my hair color is since everyone likes it whatever as long as it is something relatively natural (for work especially) but I was wondering if anyone had successfully at home made such a huge change with some sort of multi-process tecnique. If I ever get bored enough to try it (that is if someone has been able to do this on their own) I am willing to risk my hair for it. It will grow back anyway. But being able to do this seems to be impossible since not even my hair dressers wanted to attempt such a change. They managed to remove the black from my hair and re-dye it auburn but otherwise wouldn’t want to try such a huge change even though I had expressed to them that I was ok if they messed it up. So, to sum it up, if anyone has been able to get a positive result with hair colors similar to what I described, could you tell me how and with what? Thanks.

admin answers:

Yes, it’s really not hard at all.
All you have to do is set yourself up for some deep conditioning 2-3 weeks before the process and 2-3 weeks after as well.
This will prepare your hair for the chemical process it will go through and have it remain healthy and manageable.

First thing you have to do is bleach/strip the dark color out of your hair. Concentrate only on the shaft (Middle part) of your hair and the ends since these are what have the previous color (By the time next summer cones around you will have much new natural growth.)
When you see that your hair has reached a light brassy/orange stage you can remove the bleach and tone your hair.
The trick to toning your hair is buying a hair color that has an opposite base to what your hair looks like. (Chances are since your hair is a deep burgundy, the bleach will have it look a brassy orange) so all you have to do is get a hair color with a blue base to it (Blue is the opposite of orange, it will neutralize the color and give you that nice ash color you are looking for… No, your hair will not turn blue)
After that, you should be all set.
It’s pretty easy to get good results at home, but if you would really like to be positive on having great results, I would suggest you go to a professional and have the process done.

Hope this helps. :-)

Don asks…

HOW to work and earn money via computer, internet by sitting at home?

HOW to find a genuine site and persons who had successfully earned money from that site?

admin answers:

I ve been in a program for about 7months now, it has allowed me to stay at home and raise my girls. Im not going to do a sales pitch here because its not what i am trying to do, so i will keep this short. 7 months ago i was laid off from my job i came onto this sight asking the same question i was referred to a sight that i was skeptical at first i didn’t know a thing about internet jobs or marketing etc… But i did take the time to look at the free videos because i was desperate and there was just something about the program. He wasn’t charging for the videos or any of the info he was providing. So i decided to follow his steps and at first i think the beginning is the hardest especially if your new at this stuff so i was becoming discouraged but then i made first profit it wasn’t a whole lot but it was enough to keep me motivated! 7 months later i make a great income and i know if i just give it more time and effort i can be making allot more. Take a look for yourself its not going to get you rich over night but if you follow the program i guarantee you will make some good money! Hope i can help, good luck:)

Rachel asks…

How should I best deal with being home from college?

When I am at college I can easily juggle 18 credits, an honors sorority, friends, a boyfriend, sleep, and house-hold stuff fairly successfully. I get mostly A’s, make friends easily, work hard, play hard. When I come home from college however, it is the exact opposite. I become unmotivated to do anything. When I do chores my mother instantly nags about how they aren’t done well enough and how I am a sorry excuse for a 20 yr old. She constantly reminds me what to do and when to do it. It drives me nuts. She critiques it when I do it. Or she expects me to do chores after working 8 hours (she hasn’t had a job in a while and it’s frustrating that she doesn’t understand how exhausting work can be) Work is something I wish I could do full heartedly, I love my coworkers but hate the job. I wish I could be closer to my family but as they are incredibly conservative, I have a tough time even making small chat bc I feel like they would kick me out if they’ve realized who I’ve grown into at college. Ultimately at home it’s just hard to live how I want to live. It’s hard to feel successful. I’m frustrated and don’t know what to do. Help.

admin answers:

It sucks when you realize how great it is to live on your own in college and then have to come back. Maybe next summer you could get an apartment with a friend or something. I think you maybe need to sit down and talk in a calm voice with your mother about how these things are bothering you. She may not know, or if you are saying things angrily, she might just brush them off. It seems like she has unrealistic expectations for you so maybe you need to be clearer with her on what you will and won’t do. Conservative or not, it’s your life. You can do whatever you want with it. If they were to ever “kick you out” for something they don’t agree with then forget them. The best revenge is success.

I used to HATE living with my father. Every time I open the fridge for one second he would scream at me to close the door, I couldn’t leave a light on and walk out of the room without turning it off. Such a pain in the a**. What’s funny now is that I have my own house and when he comes to visit and tries to pull the same nonsense I just point to the door and say this is my house, if you don’t like the way I do things you can leave.

Caroline asks…

pathetic to stay home from college because of dogs?

I am 20 going into my junior year of college in the fall. I am currently at home going to a nearby college because I did not like my freshman year school choice and because of family issues that are now resolved.
My question is, is it unhealthy (socially, emotionally) to stay at home because it would be too hard to bring my 2 dogs with me to a school? At home, I have NO social life. When you commute, it is really hard to make friends because nobody hangs out on campus/there is not much to do. If I were away living with other girls/roommates, i would actually have friends! I also feel like school would be easier away from home because it is not as easy to be lazy like I am at home.
It is not an option to leave the dogs with my mom. she works full time and does not put them first like I do. I walk them twice daily, play with them, and care for them right. They are large breeds and need a lot of time/attention. I just do not see how it would work in an apartment with roommates and two large dogs.
If anyone has ever successfully done this, please tell me how! I probably should not have rescued these dogs when I did because of a busy time in life, but it is done now and I would NEVER give them up, i just don’t know how to make dogs work in college :( please help.

admin answers:

I think you have the wrong idea about what going away to school is all about.
I went away – 2 hours away from home. Did I make more friends? Yes and no. I mean I think I only talk to l ike 2 of them since I have graduated.
Every person there that has a “social life” is probably failing or close to it.
Why is no one hanging out on campus??? If they are too busy for that, then they are too busy for anything else.
You think you wouldn’t be lazy away from home? You will be. There is no one there to go grocery shopping for you, do your laundry, etc. I gained weight when I was away at college! Lol

YOU decided you wanted dogs.
Now you have to do whatever it is you have to do in order to care for them (your responsibility) and get an education. You should have known when you got the dogs that you would eventually be going to college and that a possibility was that you would be away from home – with that, you should have figured out if your parents were willing to take care of the dogs at that time or what the deal was.

Making dogs “work” in college is like the rest of us that have dogs and actually have careers that take us away from home for over 8 hours a day.
The option of leaving them behind for a different job opportunity is just not an option – which means it shouldnt’ be an option for you.

You can make friends, go out and do whatever without living away from home.
Did you have friends in highschool? You were living at home then too, right?

Marie asks…

How do I seperate from my husband successfully with three kids involved?

I am in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship and ready to leave, but we have three children and I am in a hurry to leave, I have family, but they have children and spouses to take care of. Please give any advice? Oh What makes matters worst, I am a stay at home mom with no income right now. I know I have to go back to work.

admin answers:

Contact a lawyer, do not sign anything he gives you without a lawyer present. Since you are a stay at home mom, you may be entitled to alimony and child support for the children. Since he is verbally abusive he will tell you anything and I mean anything to scare you into giving up your kids or staying put.

Again do not sign anything without your attorney. Most states are community property states meaning what is his is yours and what is yours is his, short version, assests that ya’ll collected during the marriage is ya’lls together he can not take everything from you nor you him. If there was not a prenuptial agreement signed prior to the marriage then assests collected prior to your marriage can also be divided up equally.

John asks…

I want to lose weight!!! —-how can i lose 30 pounds successfully???

I am 21 years old. It is now june………I would like to lose 30 pounds by the end of september. My plan is to excersise everyday 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour when i come home from work. I would like to be on a 1500 daily calorie intake if thats possible.

I now weigh 172 Ibs, im 5’7 and I want to get down to 142Ibs. I used to be 142Ibs when I was in high school, which wasn’t very long ago, now it’s just gotten out of control.

what should be my calorie intake to do this, and whats the best way to successfully get this done?????

admin answers:

I use sparkpeople.com and I’ve lost 50 lbs. So far! I love that website. It teaches you how to incorporate a healthy life style into your life, not just “what to eat to lose ?? Lbs. By ??-??-2008..” It has a daily menu for you and a workout plan. It has recipes, and tells you how much of certain vitamins your body needs. You set it up to your specific body needs. It’s been VERY helpful for me! Good Luck!!!!!!!

Mark asks…

I want to connect remotely to Windows 2003 Server network?

Its a small 4 user network at work. Workstations all run Windows XP and the Server is Windows 2003 Server. I want the 4 users to have the ability to connect to the work server and work from home. Can you give me the keywords for the main concepts that I will need to research in order to do this successfully? Better yet…any good websites that will tell me how to do this?

admin answers:

The first requirement is to have a fixed IP address on the Internet. Your ISP will charge extra for this. Then you need to set up port forwarding on your router pointing to the internal address of the machine. If using it for mail services you need to set up secure smtp mail login, or you risk becoming an open relay and getting blacklisted. The users can log in by typing the address into their file browser address bar (\217.54.161.45) for example. The email should be set up to serve IMAP rather than POP3, as POP3 clears the email when read, so if you read an email internally it will no longer show externally and vice versa. Imap holds all the emails on the server until deleted, so they can be read either way.

Alana asks…

How can I overcome feelings of insecurity, jealousy and fear, from my childhood.?

This is a serious question, so I would appreciate it if people refrained from sending flippant responses. I am the middle child of three and come from a mentally abusive childhood. I have successfully had counselling, 1-2-1 and hypnotic, which has helped deal with quite a lot of what happened as a child. Despite this, I have feelings of jealousy, insecurity and a fear of being out of control. I don’t want to control everyone and everything, I just want to feel loved. I value myself and believe that I am worth more than I get. It’s almost as if whatever I ask for, the less I get and the barrier gets lower and lower. In relationships I always feel I do too much and then I seem to have less respect. I don’t want to be like some women though who treat their partners badly though. I have my own home, work full time and on the outside I look and act pretty normal and appear as a fully independent woman. Sometimes though I feel just like giving it all up and letting someone else take control. I have felt like an adult as far back as I can remember and have always been sensitive to others needs, putting them first the majority of the time. I want to feel wanted and loved but when others are put first before me I feel lost and fade into the background which is what I did as a child. I had to compete for attention with my brother and sister as a child but never did this in a stroppy childish way, preferring to be helpful and receive praise. I never really had a 1-2-1 relationship with either of my parents until I was in my 20′s, and now I am 42. I am divorced with no children. I feel like I don’t know what to do with myself apart from do supportive things like clean and cook, iron etc. I feel like these a valuable tasks to do for the people you care for but after a while I don’t want to do anything as they should just love me for me and the good qualities I have – I do believe I have good qualities – I am loving and caring, supportive and can take care of myself. Why do I feel jealous then when my boyfriend is very friendly (it is flirting) with other women and also sexist (looking at pictures of the women’s chests on the server at work from a recent staff party). It makes me feel degraded. Other readers experiences or tips on how to deal with jealously / insecurity would help I feel. The ironic thing is that when I’m not in a relationship I’m pretty good and don’t feel too bad at all taking everything into consideration.

admin answers:

It seems that you lack confidence. Why? I am not sure. You seem like a great person and loving mother. You need to assert yourself with your boyfriend and tell him that you do not like his flirting with other women and that it needs to stop. If he disagrees, then ask yourself can you really stand to be with someone like this? Will it work? If you cant answer that or work it out with him, try to move past him because it will only cause you hurt.

What i’ve found to be come more confident and not too insecure, is to be yourself. Are you being yourself, or are you being who you think others will like? I would change myself for other people so they would like me. Let me tell you it never ever worked. It may have for a while but it always came crashing down. I have only a few days ago started finding myself and my confidence as soared and i am starting to feel better about myself.

I think you feel that way when you’re in a relationship because you dont want the person to leave you and will do anything to keep them. This is good, but can also be bad. Good luck babe. <3

Helena asks…

Is it wrong for me to get a puppy…?

if it is going to be left 5 hours everyday? I work 4 hours, so including travel times, it will be just under 5 hours. I can work from home occasionally, which is why I decided to get a puppy – but now I’m researching crate training/house training etc, it seems that if I leave it 5 hours, in it’s crate or not, it is going to soil, as it’s too young to be able to hold it – so I’m therefore delaying the process, by allowing him to soil everyday!?

Has anyone managed to house train a dog successfully whilst out at work? I know many people who work full time and own a dog, so not sure how they’ve got on really.

admin answers:

This is how my dogs were. They occasionally still wet the carpet but they will get used to it with time. I say you should get a puppy.
