Hi,
Most work from home type jobs require you to start your own business. All of them will require work and training. I think the key is to find a business that has a proven process that others have been successful using. That way you can duplicate it for your own home business. If you are selling a product or service, you want it to be one that is something everyone uses and will return to you to use it again. Example: Candle Type Company is fun, but not everyone has to have a candle so you may not get repeat business.
NO Parties!!!
I was looking for a work from home type business and I researched what I just mentioned above. I chose Arbonne International. They are fast growing Health and Beauty Company that fills what most healthy people are looking for today – Pure, Safe, and Beneficial Products. Their ingredients are botanically based and they use only things that are beneficial to our bodies and the creation of the product. They are growing and are in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
Our Team has a Simple Concept: NO PARTIES!!! Unless you like parties and then you can do that. But we make it really simple. Replace a few products that you are already using with Arbonne Products and teach other to do the same thing. So it is really simple, but it does take a little time and effort.
Costs; (If you can not spend any money to start, I can show you how to start for free. The example below requires a small start up fee, but I can show you how to do this with NO START UP COSTS!!!)
Arbonne Membership is $29.00 USD ($35.00 USD with s&h of your packet). This gets you signed up as an Independent Consultant. After that you can use that membership 2 ways.
1/ As a Wholesale Consumer and receive 35% to 80% off your personal purchases. You can order as little or as much as you would like. No requirements.
2/ As a Biasness Builder: You will receive the same discounts as above, but you will also receive override referral pay from Arbonne. It starts at 4% and as your business grows and you work your way up the management levels, you can earn as much as 17%. The requirement to receive an override referral pay from Arbonne is to purchase $100.00 Personal Retail (only $65.00 with your wholesale membership) each month. They require this because if you are going to be referring the business and products to others, you should be using them yourself. This is not and extra cost for you, this is you replacing products you already purchase with Arbonne products. Arbonne has over 300 products, so if you already have a favorite shampoo you don’t want to switch, they offer enough other products for you switch to and purchase each month.
Once again our team does not do Parties. We keep it simple. We each purchase our required $100 Personal Retail ($65.00 Wholesale actual cost to us) and then we teach others to do the same. We don’t keep an inventory of products in our homes. We just share the wonderful products of Arbonne and the Arbonne Business Builder Program as our vehicle to earning a Plan B income. Some have made it their Plan A. It can grow that big.
I hope this has given you a window into Arbonne. Please visit my website in the source below. You can see how our concept works; learn about the products, the company, the pay plan, and me and our team. If you are ready to sign up you can click the link in the upper right corner “Start Now” If you want more information, please email me.
This is not just a company for the ladies…many men have also been successful.
I hope you find the right company! I wish you the best!

Do you work from home, share what you do!?
Being 3 months pregnant has made me start to think, what am I going to do when the baby is here. I don’t want to pay $300 dollars a week for someone El’s to raise my baby! Working from home seems to be the best answer I can think of, plus it shouldn’t be hard to match 12.00 per hour (what i make know). But with so many on the internet I’m scared they are scams. So my question is………..
What do you do?
Where did you find it?
Any advice?
How much do you make?
Do you love it?

Congrats on your new baby coming. I went through this a long time ago as well.
My husband and I started our home based business over seven years ago. We both wanted to work out of our home and be together raising our children. We didn’t want to send them off to a daycare center. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting down daycare providers. They work hard. But I just didn’t want the traditional family lifestyle of one or both parents having to work out of the home and really not be a part of our children’s life. I didn’t want that lifestyle. I wanted to be with my kids. Also, at the time I was put on bed rest in my 4th month of pregancy due to complications and my husband was under going back to back surgeries, so we were forced to find something that we could do at home. Searching for home based jobs, they don’t pay what we were used to making. Most were bottom of the barrel income earnings, around minimum waged. Figuring on after taxes, we would make less then miminum wage. With our lifestyle we were accustomed to, we would not survive on that income. So we went onto looking at home based business opportunities.
The company we chose made the most since to us. A product that is and always will be in high demand. There are a lot of products and services out there that are good. We decided to partner up with this company because it was things that people will always use and pay for anyway, pretty much no matter what. We didn’t have to worry if money became tight that they could easily run to the store and purchase on sale or be able to buy it at the dollar store. So, we got involved in the world’s largest direct selling telecommunications service provider that was started back in 1993. It’s now a 15 year old, world wide international company. With headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Charlotte, Amsterdam, Sydney and Montreal. They have been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company in revenue in it’s first five years. They market in services people use every day and pay for anyway.Services like Local and Long Distance telephones, Internet, Digital, video phones, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc as well. We save people money on services that they are already using and paying for, and help people on new services that they don’t already have. We upgrade and extend celluar phone contracts and place people on new contracts. Every single month these people pay their bills, we make a percentage over and over again each month. That’s just one way we get paid in this industry.
How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services or products? . A lot of money involved in this industry.
Our home based business gave us the opportunity to start up a non profit organization called SOFTIN (www.seafaringopportunities.org) based on my son (Kaiden) who is autistic (which explains the pregnancy complications I think)
I’m not going to broadcast the income level we make, but we do better then we did working in the corporate world. We also have a non profit organization, which should explain a lot there. We love what we do, the people we work with and what it has done for us.

I do accounting and tax work at home. I would get a lot more new clients if I opened an office, but I have enough clients so I don’t make any effort to get new ones.
