It’s kinda hard to engage in any activity without a computer knowledge. I recommend telemarketing. Try to sell something through the phone or maybe advertise it through ebay and make some money. I hope that helps.

I do several different things, but the two that I can stay home and do are: ebay and network marketing. You can get a resale license and order items wholesale from businesses and sell them on ebay. It takes a lot of research to find the right businesses, but it has worked for me. I also do network marketing. You can search it on the web and find a lot of information about it. You can also take a tour here to learn more www.automaticbuilder.com/oneharrycat It has worked for me.

HELP! My kids are home from school for 2 weeks and I need ideas to keep them entertained!?

My daughters are ages 9 & 12, and today is their 1st day of no school for 2 weeks.I work from home, and my husband works 10 hour days, so I’m at home with the girls this morning and they’re already saying they’re bored!
They like to watch movies, but I don’t want them doing that for 2 weeks straight. I’ve been trying to think of some things we can do together that don’t cost anything (or much) during the day, like baking cookies, starting new traditions for the holidays, etc. but can’t think of much.
They already have their chores finished for the day, so I need some ideas on how to spend the next 2 weeks…ideas that will make their holiday break memorable.
Thanks to all in advance!!
For queen corvette: Your heart is cold! I had children because I love kids

I’m getting a lot of “dress Up, cinderella, etc” ideas, but my girls are a bit old for that type of thing. And, shopping…it’s Christmas time, which means cash is short and in less than a week they’ll have new things to open anyway.
I’m looking for traditions to start more than anything…Thanks!!

Hi! WOW, I loved the lasy guy’s response, but that’s a hard lesson to teach young-uns. We’re trying with my son, who is 3 1/2. However, it seems like you’re trying to create memories with them, right?

My kids are a lot younger, but we always go on walks. Even if it’s a bit chilly, we take out cups and collect things like acorns, leaves, rocks etc. We walk the trails and look for bugs. (Might not fly with girls!)

There’s also sidewalk chalk, sidewalk paint, beading and friendship bracelets. Take them to a roller or ice skating rink, the library, local museum. Take them to the art museum!

Read books with them, play board games, make hot chocolate, have a pedicure day. Have them clean the house. :)

admin answers:

Hi,
Most work from home type jobs require you to start your own business. All of them will require work and training. I think the key is to find a business that has a proven process that others have been successful using. That way you can duplicate it for your own home business. If you are selling a product or service, you want it to be one that is something everyone uses and will return to you to use it again. Example: Candle Type Company is fun, but not everyone has to have a candle so you may not get repeat business.

NO Parties!!!
I was looking for a work from home type business and I researched what I just mentioned above. I chose Arbonne International. They are fast growing Health and Beauty Company that fills what most healthy people are looking for today – Pure, Safe, and Beneficial Products. Their ingredients are botanically based and they use only things that are beneficial to our bodies and the creation of the product. They are growing and are in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

Our Team has a Simple Concept: NO PARTIES!!! Unless you like parties and then you can do that. But we make it really simple. Replace a few products that you are already using with Arbonne Products and teach other to do the same thing. So it is really simple, but it does take a little time and effort.

Costs; (If you can not spend any money to start, I can show you how to start for free. The example below requires a small start up fee, but I can show you how to do this with NO START UP COSTS!!!)

Arbonne Membership is $29.00 USD ($35.00 USD with s&h of your packet). This gets you signed up as an Independent Consultant. After that you can use that membership 2 ways.

1/ As a Wholesale Consumer and receive 35% to 80% off your personal purchases. You can order as little or as much as you would like. No requirements.

2/ As a Biasness Builder: You will receive the same discounts as above, but you will also receive override referral pay from Arbonne. It starts at 4% and as your business grows and you work your way up the management levels, you can earn as much as 17%. The requirement to receive an override referral pay from Arbonne is to purchase $100.00 Personal Retail (only $65.00 with your wholesale membership) each month. They require this because if you are going to be referring the business and products to others, you should be using them yourself. This is not and extra cost for you, this is you replacing products you already purchase with Arbonne products. Arbonne has over 300 products, so if you already have a favorite shampoo you don’t want to switch, they offer enough other products for you switch to and purchase each month.

Once again our team does not do Parties. We keep it simple. We each purchase our required $100 Personal Retail ($65.00 Wholesale actual cost to us) and then we teach others to do the same. We don’t keep an inventory of products in our homes. We just share the wonderful products of Arbonne and the Arbonne Business Builder Program as our vehicle to earning a Plan B income. Some have made it their Plan A. It can grow that big.

I hope this has given you a window into Arbonne. Please visit my website in the source below. You can see how our concept works; learn about the products, the company, the pay plan, and me and our team. If you are ready to sign up you can click the link in the upper right corner “Start Now” If you want more information, please email me.

This is not just a company for the ladies…many men have also been successful.

I hope you find the right company! I wish you the best!

Kirstie asks…

Do you work from home, share what you do!?

Being 3 months pregnant has made me start to think, what am I going to do when the baby is here. I don’t want to pay $300 dollars a week for someone El’s to raise my baby! Working from home seems to be the best answer I can think of, plus it shouldn’t be hard to match 12.00 per hour (what i make know). But with so many on the internet I’m scared they are scams. So my question is………..

What do you do?
Where did you find it?
Any advice?
How much do you make?
Do you love it?

admin answers:

Congrats on your new baby coming. I went through this a long time ago as well.
My husband and I started our home based business over seven years ago. We both wanted to work out of our home and be together raising our children. We didn’t want to send them off to a daycare center. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting down daycare providers. They work hard. But I just didn’t want the traditional family lifestyle of one or both parents having to work out of the home and really not be a part of our children’s life. I didn’t want that lifestyle. I wanted to be with my kids. Also, at the time I was put on bed rest in my 4th month of pregancy due to complications and my husband was under going back to back surgeries, so we were forced to find something that we could do at home. Searching for home based jobs, they don’t pay what we were used to making. Most were bottom of the barrel income earnings, around minimum waged. Figuring on after taxes, we would make less then miminum wage. With our lifestyle we were accustomed to, we would not survive on that income. So we went onto looking at home based business opportunities.
The company we chose made the most since to us. A product that is and always will be in high demand. There are a lot of products and services out there that are good. We decided to partner up with this company because it was things that people will always use and pay for anyway, pretty much no matter what. We didn’t have to worry if money became tight that they could easily run to the store and purchase on sale or be able to buy it at the dollar store. So, we got involved in the world’s largest direct selling telecommunications service provider that was started back in 1993. It’s now a 15 year old, world wide international company. With headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Charlotte, Amsterdam, Sydney and Montreal. They have been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company in revenue in it’s first five years. They market in services people use every day and pay for anyway.Services like Local and Long Distance telephones, Internet, Digital, video phones, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc as well. We save people money on services that they are already using and paying for, and help people on new services that they don’t already have. We upgrade and extend celluar phone contracts and place people on new contracts. Every single month these people pay their bills, we make a percentage over and over again each month. That’s just one way we get paid in this industry.
How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services or products? . A lot of money involved in this industry.
Our home based business gave us the opportunity to start up a non profit organization called SOFTIN (www.seafaringopportunities.org) based on my son (Kaiden) who is autistic (which explains the pregnancy complications I think)
I’m not going to broadcast the income level we make, but we do better then we did working in the corporate world. We also have a non profit organization, which should explain a lot there. We love what we do, the people we work with and what it has done for us.

Questions & Answers On Work From Home Reviews Scams

Caroline asks…

I am intersted in a work at home job. ?

I heard about the “process at home” where you process rebates.

does anyone know anything about this?
its hard to research reviews on it because half the reviews are from competor companies.

is there a legit website that reviews work at home job?
and how bout process at home – real or scam?

admin answers:

“If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate.”

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as ‘Best’.

Charlie asks…

I would like to work for an employer from home? Are there any LEGITIMATE jobs? I can’t work outside my home.?

I have been without a job for 4 months and every “legitimate” review site ends up being another scam. It is hard enough being without work without also being taken advantage of by some creep that only wants to make money on other people’s misery. I need to work!

John asks…

Anyone ever heard of the Shoemoney work from home program?

I am currently married and expecting our first child. In the beginning of my pregnancy my husband and I seriously considered me quitting my job and staying at home to raise our child. However to maintain our lifestyle and to provide better for our baby we decided it best to utilize daycare and for both of us to continue working full time.

Yesterday I happen to run across an article about this program called the Shoemoney Work From Home Job. It sounds extremely convincing and risk free. You invest about a hundred bucks of your own money and the program you receive teaches you how to post ads for large internet companies and they claim you start getting paid for every ad you post immediately. Too good to be true?…thats what I thought. So I started looking up reviews and information on how legit this program really is and I cant find anything negative about it at all.

Has anyone heard of this program? Is it a scam? Some of the comments I have read from other forums about this program seem slightly tainted…like they are not real people but rather computerized links…etc. I thought I might try this question out here on my own via Yahoo.

Thanks for any help! =)

admin answers:

100% scam.

The only way to make money is SELLING the system, not DOING the system.

If the system was so profitable, why would the owner want to decrease his income by having more people do the system? More people doing the same system means more competition and less income for all involved in the system.

The only person making any money here is the one that owns the original website selling the system.

Sorry, but you are not paid for “every ad you post”, you are paid for every person that clicks on your ad before it is deleted by that website’s moderators, follows the ad back to whatever site you are advertising, reads that website, signs up and doesn’t do a chargeback, then and only then are you paid a very, very small commission. Posting ads all over is a quick way to be permanently ip banned for spamming.

The “100% money back guarantee” is completely and utterly worthless. Clickbank, paypal and credit cards do not give refunds for ebooks, downloads, access, mentoring, advice, instructions, directions, virtual money or any other kind of non-tangible electronic goods, which is what is being purchased here, non-tangible electronic goods.

Just another “follow these vague instructions and you might be the one in a million that makes a bit of money doing this system” type website.

Reading the “disclaimer”, “terms of use” and “privacy policy” are all very telling. Translated, they know you won’t make any money, your payment is non-refundable and while you attempt to follow the system, they and other companies will spam you with other offers.

Lynn asks…

What sort of work can a Schizophrenic do from home?

Hi there,

I have Paranoid Schizophrenia, Uni-Polar Depression, O.C.D, Social Anxiety Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Mobility Difficulties.

If I were to go back to work, I fear I wouldn’t be able to cope in the “work place” and that also my High Rate (CARE) Disability Living Allowance would be slashed down to Low Rate (CARE) (because let’s face it, they DO take a dim view of working whilst being on D.L.A DESPITE those who reckon they don’t and will find themselves having regular reviews and having their D.L.A possibly slashed to a lower ‘Rate’ or stopped altogether. I speak mainly of people with Mental Difficulties rather then Physical).

To make it worth my while I’d have to earn more than £680.00 P/Month (which is what I get on Incapacity Benefit and Income Support). Please no “Scrounger” replies. At least I am considering getting back into work which is more than can be said for the rest of the Dole fodder of England. And would YOU seriously do an 8 hour job P/Week and earn £50.00 P/Week when you are currently receiving £160.00 P/Week (Not counting D.L.A) on I.B and I.S alone??? That would be STUPID!

So what sort of job could I do from home? GENUINE replies ONLY please. If you respond with all that “Make $1.5M P/Month from home” horse excrement then I WILL report you. Those are just scams and cons that require you to enter your card details and then you never hear from them again or you get re-directed to though about 50 different sites. It’s pure RUBBISH. And I am NOT from the U.S.A so $ DOESN’T help me! I need answers from the U.K only please or if you are from another country, only WORTHWHILE ideas please. Any web-sites with jobs for Disabled/Mental Health Difficulties are also welcomed.

Thank you.

If your illness has a constant risk to it you will not have your DLA cut. Simple. Sick of hearing all the untruths about work DLA and Mental Health. I am Bipolar and have been seriously ill on and off for 20 years but work and get high rate DLA and have done for 9 years.

As long as you are honest on your claims, you can still get DLA. Just because I have a job it doesnt stop me from avoiding my medication, stealing cars when high and speeding. Just because I have a job, it doesnt stop me needing somene to get me up in the mornings and make me eat or my mood is seriously disturbed. I can’t answer the phone and someone has to read my post. But when I am at work I have to pretend I am ok.

Frankly self esteem and self respect are worth far more to me than a few hundred a month, and with your diagnosis (although diagnosis is technically irrelevant in a DLA claim as many people share symptoms and are wrongly diagnosed, such as schizophrenia/ personality disorder) you would still face the risks. Also, you would get return to work credit of £40 per week for 12 months, and tax credits for disabled people which you dont even have to have DLA for.

It shouldnt be about the money, its about can you do it. Get some voluntary experience under your belt, and ths would make you mre attractive to employers.

Jobs are not like benefits, you have far more to prove, but ultimately, far more to gain than just money.

I have tried several WAH opportunities from those requesting a small start-up to some major SCAMS. I am not looking for posts to YOUR business opportunity. I want REAL answers from REAL people about there horror stories or possible their good stories they have experienced trying to succeed at WAH.

Honestly,

My business hasn’t been easy. I have been met with more no’s than I thought I would. But I know that my efforts will pay off and I believe in the product and I have a desire to change the lives of others. If you don’t believe in what you are doing and are doing it just to make a fast buck, then nothing will ever work. I am sorry your WAH opportunities didn’t meet your expectations, but we get out of these businesses what we put into them. I hope this answer helps and I am available to go further if need be.

Thanks,
