Questions & Answers On 2 Work From Home Reviews

Paul asks…

When people run away from their problems, what does it mean that they still come after you in the end?

(I know this is soo long but I need some help. Thank you so much! I promise I’ll give 10 points to best answer, I always do:) Anyways can someone give me examples? I don’t really understand. So if someone is having trouble at work with their boss, co-workers and that company isn’t really in their favor but the person really likes the type of work they do. So they decide to try to find a job with a different company and they land the position. The person ends up having a great time with and a good, fair career. I don’t understand how running away from your problems can be that bad?
I don’t think I’m running away from my problems. But my parents enrolled me in a great (a little more difficult than most elementary schools, not my assigned neighborhood school) then after elementary school I went to 7-12th grade school (which is also above the standards), which I am at now. I completed 7th grade very well. Then in 8th grade it started to slip a bit.
Now I’m in 9th grade. It was very difficult to complete my homework at the beginning of the year with volleyball from 5:30 to 7:30. School ends at 2:30. I often did homework in the library till practice, but didnt complete it. Then I was always exhausted when I got home. It takes me 45 minutes to get home from my school. Now the material is getting harder and harder. I’m failing a class. And have 2 D’s in 2 other classes. I’m tired of being exhausted. And the curriculum gets harder through the years. So if I am doing bad now, it’s going to get worse. The grades I have really bother me. I am fairly smart. I always try to do my best, but I’m not a genius like most of the kids in my school are.
I’m trying and its just not working, it’s very frustrating.
My neighborhood high school is only 2 minutes away which definitely helps. They’re bell schedule works better for my learning style. And they have lots of more classes to choose from. It’s the second best school in my district, behind mine. So it seems perfect. It has 10 out of 10 stars in reviews from a source I read, just like my school. And I’m really interested in their volleyball program compared to mine, because I didn’t like my high school volleyball experience too much. And I won’t have to worry if I am eligible to play. High school volleyball is now over, but I’m still struggling with my schoolwork. I’m applying myself and I even got a tutor, but nothing is seeming to work.
I’d say I am semi-popular at my school. I talk to alot of people and people say ‘hi’ to me as I pass them in the hall. I’m nice to everyone, include and accept people. But alot of my friends live by the school which, as I told you, is 45 minutes away. So I don’t get alot of opportunities to see them outside of school. I don’t know alot of people at the school I want to go to, but the people I do know said I would really like it there, and make lots of friends. I’ll be so sad to leave my friends though, but I think its for the best. Eventhough the school I go to now is slightly better getting into a good college. I will still get into a great college with my new school, but I will enjoy my high school experience better. They offer plenty of honors and AP classes. The work level I’m doing right now is beyond my maturity. When I get into college, I’m confident I will handle it good because I’ll be older.
I just don’t know if I’m running away from my academic problems? I just think if I went to this school I would do better with my work because I’ll be less tired and its a bit easier. this school is also on block so ill only have 3 classes a day which means more time to work on homework. instead of 7 classes a day, every day. I would really like a new adventure and try this school out.
thanks!

I am not sure if the school you are in is an accelerated school, with harder classes. If so the problem might be you were ahead of most when you were younger. That happens all the time. Depending on the educational games parents play with their kids, and the time parents spend with their kids in the early years. With a lot of working single moms, and dads most kids do not get that special attention. So you might have been early educated, so it appeared you would be good at harder classes, but as you get older most kids even out. So maybe you just need to go to normal classes. Now if you are in normal classes then maybe you need a little tutoring. Education are like building blocks. What you learn in the past helps you understand the new stuff. If you miss something, or go on before you fully understand something the new stuff is harder.

As for the running away, I do not think you are running away. You are having a little trouble with all the things you have to do at this time. The long bus trip to and from school adds stress to your life, and with school, studying, homework, and sports its just a little too much.

I would say ask your parents if you can go to the school that is closer to you. Just tell them it is too much for you right now. Kids need to be balanced out school, studying,friends, sports. Or maybe you are taking too many classes, or one class that gives you a little too much work to handle the rest of your classes. Sometimes a little more work is just a little too much.

So the idea, of running away from your troubles has to do with how you deal with problems. If you do not fix a problem. The problem is inside you so when you run you take it with you. If you have a temper, or are rude, or crude, where ever you are you act the same way.

As I said I just think you have too many classes to deal with. It would be great to get good grades in all 7 classes, but if 7 classes are too much to handle you will fall short in all your classes and your goal of getting into good college, will not happen if you can not get good grades in all the classes you take. Getting A’s and B’s in 5 or 6 classes is better then getting B’s and C’s in 7 classes.

Hope this helps.

Kylee asks…

I need extra time off in 2009…?

I have worked for my company for a year and a half. I go above and beyond on a daily basis and they verbally have acknowledged this. They have told me they find me invaluable in my position and I have never even called in sick.
When I interviewed I had asked for a certain pay rate, requesting to start below that rate and after the 90 day trial moving to my requested rate. They were hesitant and I offered to let me prove my worth and they liked that and hired me. They started me $3 under my request, bumped me up $1 after 30 days cuz they were so impressed and after 1 year bumped me up another .50. This leaves me $1.50 under where I wanted to be after 90 days and my reviews are excellent. I am ok with this but the reason I am explaining is I am wondering if it would be appropriate to use this as leverage to allow me to request an extra 2 weeks of unpaid vacation this next year. I have opportunities and important immediate family weddings I am involved in that I will never have the opportunity to do again. I would not expect it to be grandfathered in for the following years but 2009 is an extremely different year for me with some great travel opportunities. Truth is I actually need 3 extra weeks but am willing to shorten some to make it reasonable.
My concern is they want to be fair and they do not let other employees take extra unpaid time off. But our company has 11 employees and I am the only one that is paid hourly instead of salary, I am also the only employee that does not receive any option to work from home. The other employees sometimes work 2 days a week from home and if they ever get sick they do not take their sick days they just work from home, not to mention they get paid more and get huge bonuses. I work just as hard as all of them just in a different manner and they all agree. Everyone in the company knows I get things done right and keep everything running smoothly.
How do I go about getting that extra time off I need for 2009??

I would just ask as soon as possible for the dates requested off without saying anything that you typed above. Besides, if you give the longest notice you can, it may be easier for them to work your time off into the schedule. Good luck.

Help Me help please i dont get this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!trig?

please help me with my math home work its a review from last year and i dont remember it put it step by step thank you soooooooo much!!!!!

1.two buildings are separated by an alley. joe is looking out of a window 60 feet above the ground in one building. he observes the measurement of the angle of depression of the base of the second building to be 50 degrees and the angle of elevetion of the top to be 40 degrees. How high is the second building?

2.At the same time kris leaves Washington DC for detroit michigan amy leaves detroit for washington DC. the distance between the cities is 510 miles. amy’s averge speed is 5 miles per hour faster than kris’s. How fast is kris’s average speed if they pass each other in 6 hours?

3. when you use Jay’s Taxi Service, a two mile trip costs $6.30, a five mile trip costs $11.25, and a ten mile trip costs $19.50. write an equation to describe this relationship and use it to find the cost of a one mile trip.

thank you soooooooooooo much!!! theres like 30 problems on the work sheet and these are the only 3 i dont get thank you!!!!!!!

admin answers:

NUMBER 1, you’re on your own, I haven’t been in trig in a long time.

NUMBER 2, you’re probably making it too hard in your head. You have two people traveling toward each other. Their total distance is 510 miles and they met each other in 6 hours. One traveled 5 mph faster. Therefore:

x [Kris's speed] + x + 5 [Amy's speed] = 510/6 [average miles in 1 hour].

Simplified: 2x + 5 = 85. Their average speeds are 40 and 45 respectively. Slow movers I guess.

NUMBER 3, it’s using multiple equations to solve two variables. Obviously the cab rides aren’t all just a multiple of miles, since there’s no way that works with the numbers they give for each ride.

So you set them up with x and y, where x is cost per mile and y is some additional flat fee surcharge.

2x + y = 6.30
5x + y = 11.25
10x + y = 19.50

From there, you have to isolate one variable or the other so you can set them to equal each other. That sounds messy but it’s not, especially since y is always the same in each equation.

Y = 6.30 – 2x
y = 11.25 – 5x
y = 19.50 – 10x

Now that you have three different versions of what y is, you can swap two in like this:

6.30 – 2x = 11.25 – 5x ==> -2x – (-5x) = 11.25 – 6.30 ==> x = 1.65.

When you substitute this into the original equations you’ll find y = 3.

What r the rules 4 working & on disability, being reviewed, not supposed 2 work according 2 dr.s but have kids

& a deadbeat dad, they r in college, work full-time, I only work a few hours a week, don’t make over what they say u can, only sit where I work, have so many medical problems, am having an operation I could die from coming up, got a review letter, don’t know what to do, can’t afford to lose my disability, my meds alone cost more than my pay and disability $ I take home which is only 500 s/thing, but helps to pay rent ect, &only started to work so kids could go to college, & I’ve been to the dr. more& gotten sicker since started working, it’s in my dr.s files, & at least I’m not trying to cheat the gov’t, I’m trying to work, against their orders, if only a few hr’s a wk, but, scared they r going to take my disability away. Do I quit my job & move in w/my kids at college away,which they don’t want really, keep working till I get the operation which I won’t ever work again, just quit, move in with my brother in town, which I don’t want, or move into a disability house?Lose pets a/w

admin answers:

As long as you are making under the amount allowed on disability,I believe it is like $900.00 a month if I’m not mistaken AND you are reporting your income to SS,you should be fine. The review is just basically a paper review. They will verify with your Doctor that you are still disabled. You are allowed to work while getting disability as long as it is under the limit. Don’t worry,they won’t take your disability away.
You should check into government housing in your area though. Some do allow pets. It might help ease the burden a little as far as your bills are concerned. You are entitled to it.

Advice on building a new computer?

Hi everyone,

My current computer, which I built in 2003, is currently on its last legs. I only build a new computer once every 3-4 years or so, so when I build one, I like to spend a little bit more money for parts that won’t be outdated as soon as I buy them and parts that will last.

I spent some time reading reviews and putting parts together. I was originally planning on spending around $1000, but after picking out the parts, the total came out to be around $1200-$1300, which is manageable.

I don’t really play many computer games anymore, but when I do play them, they are pretty graphic intensive (flight simulator, company of heroes, etc) and I would like to enjoy them when I play them. I also work from home most of the time, so it is very important that I have a computer that is reliable. I am not planning on overclocking or messing around with any of the factory settings. I have been building computers for myself for over 10 years, so I am very comfortable with putting the computer together.

I would very much appreciate it if someone can please look over my wishlist and let me know if the selection that I made will work well? Also, for the motherboard that I selected, once prices on the other I7 chips come down, is there much room for me to put a faster chip into this motherboard?

Here is the list of the parts that I was planning on buying:

Well thas a heck of a nice machine! I would hope you have picked out a good CPU heat sink/fan..(Zalman 9900?…Thermalright Ultra 120?)…that chip gets hot! I like PC power & cooling for a PSU, 750W is good. I think a bit more hard drive is in order…look at newegg.com for a WD 640Gig or 750 for the most bang for the buck. I assume you will be using a 64 bit OS? If your going to 6Gb of RAM. Again…nice machine! Good luck!

C.

Anything to the left of the decimal is a whole number, if there is nothing there than that means it is smaller than the whole number.

3.5 is like three and a half, and that is greater than 2 and one sixth.

Good luck.

Have you ever tried Brent Austin’s “Automated Wealth System”?

I just read a review saying that this was the #1 work-from-home system available. But it looks like normal price is $100, but says there is a 1/2 price deal right now. I was wondering, after you pay the initial start-up fee, if there’s more fees after that – or if the program even works – or what you actually do when using the program. Thanks, in advance, for any information!
NEVERMIND!!! I just found out it’s totally a SCAM!!
