Questions & Answers On How To Work From Home For Google

John asks…

Has anyone had success with the Google Kit?

Has anyone had ANY success with the Google Work from home kit? How much did you accrue you’re first week and was this successful for you? I’m interested in making more money and I’ve read about the work from home scams and the ones that are legit, but before I take that risk of paying for the shipping and handling and trying it out, I need to know if it actually works and are there any gimmicks like any extra fees. Thanks

admin answers:

These are scams… They promise you alot, and when you take a look at it, it seems as if it could work, but it doesn’t. Besides that, they charge you a few dollars only for the welcome packet, and then 79dollars or something every month thereafter. You can read more about these types of scams in the article below. The only genuine way to earn money online via Google is through their Adsense system, which is FREE to subscribe to. Adsense is the system where you put ads from Google on your website, and get paid a small amount of money for each of your visitors who clicks an ad. Many visitors, means many clicks, and thus more money.
Adsense can earn you quite some money, but it does take alot of effort and time.

Questions & Answers On Work From Home Reviews Of Work From Home Jobs

Wayne asks…

I realise i face a continual uphill struggle through life, what do i do?

im sat here tonight in my one bedroom flat , and i just feel incredibly empty, lonely , insecure and depressed, im now nearly 32 and have endured a misfortunate life with many struggles , unfairness, bad luck and just ; many adversities.

as a result i missed out on all the normal life happenings that people just take for granted, made mistakes , have a prison record , a psychiatric hospital record both around 11 years back now.

i missed out on developing relationships in life , being employed , having a job history , getting qualifications , and most other life normalities.

my ankle still feels weak and unsteady after an operation to fix torn tendons months ago happened months back – have to make an appointment with the hospital to review how its going.

because of life stress, age i feel, has physically caught up with me in the face , have 2 missing teeth through an accident years ago – at the front, bottom 2 teeth gone.

i was diagnosed with personality disorders years ago – my main problems are aggression, paranoia , low self confidence and severe anxiety , agoraphobia , racing thoughts. – ive made a lot of progress for years now, working with the local mental health resources to get psychotherapy.

i feel no shame in disclosing all this to the public – what the hell – the hell with it, ive done it for years on here , on yahoo answers.

i just sit here tonight, alone and i realise the full magnitude of the struggle ahead, questions , worries racing through my mind like – ” when and how will i achieve my goals in life ? ”

goals of : developing meaningful relationships , getting a decent paid computer job, working from home – moving away to a quiet coastal village by the sea , buying my own little home.

i struggle still socially with aloofness and low self confidence, at times with aggressive emotions – made a lot of progress but i do have a hill to climb to achieve those goals.

i feel so insecure at thinking ” how will i accomplish these things ? ” ” when will it happen ? ” ” when will my loneliness end ? ” what if people reject me ? ” – ive suffered a lot of rejection in life because i behave too desperate for friendships.

” how can a man with a disadvantaged history , no work history at 32 achieve living by the coast in his own little home , a quiet coastal village ? ”

can anyone help me out with any of this ?

admin answers:

Stop.
Don’t think about the problem, think about the solution.

Make small goals for yourself. Each time you achieve one, pat yourself on the back. Slowly go through your list and achieve each one.

You can do it, it just will take a bit of time and effort.

Do it in small, manageable steps.

*********** I want to know if you guys think that this is a scam? I think so, what about you?

admin answers:

100% scam.

There is no job.

There is only a scammer trying to steal your hard-earned money.

The next email will be from another of the scammer’s fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the “secretary/assistant/accountant” and will demand you cash a large fake check sent on a stolen UPS/FedEx billing account number and send most of the “money” via Western Union or moneygram back to the scammer posing as the “supply company” while you “keep” a small portion. When your bank realizes the check is fake and it bounces, you get the real life job of paying back the bank for the bounced check fees and all the bank’s money you sent to an overseas criminal.

Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.

When you refuse to send him your cash he will send increasingly nasty and rude emails trying to convince you to go through with his scam. The scammer could also create another fake name and email address like “FBI@ gmail.com”, “police_person @hotmail.com” or “investigator @yahoo.com” and send emails telling you the job is legit and you must cash the fake check and send your money to the scammer or you will face legal action. Just ignore, delete and block those email addresses. Although, reading a scammer’s attempt at impersonating a law enforcement offical can be extremely funny.

Now that you have responded to a scammer, you are on his ‘potential sucker’ list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.

You could post up the email address and the emails themselves that the scammer is using, it will help make your post more googlable for other suspicious potential victims to find when looking for information.

Do you know how to check the header of a received email? If not, you could google for information. Being able to read the header to determine the geographic location an email originated from will help you weed out the most obvious scams and scammers. Then delete and block that scammer. Don’t bother to tell him that you know he is a scammer, it isn’t worth your effort. He has one job in life, convincing victims to send him their hard-earned cash.

Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.

6 “Rules to follow” to avoid most fake jobs:
1) Job asks you to use your personal bank account and/or open a new one.
2) Job asks you to print/mail/cash a check or money order.
3) Job asks you to use Western Union or moneygram in any capacity.
4) Job asks you to accept packages and re-ship them on to anyone.
5) Job asks you to pay visas, travel fees via Western Union or moneygram.
6) Job asks you to sign up for a credit reporting or identity verification site.

Avoiding all jobs that mention any of the above listed ‘red flags’ and you will miss nearly all fake jobs. Only scammers ask you to do any of the above. No. Exceptions. Ever. For any reason.

If you google “fake check cashing job”, “fraud Western Union scam”, “money mule moneygram scam” or something similar you will find hundreds of posts from victims and near-victims of this type of scam.

David asks…

In PA, if I quit my job could I still collect unemployment given these circumstances?

Reasons I’m filing for unemployment:

Personal Reasons:
The stress caused by my job has become a hardship on my marriage and my health (causing extreme weight loss in a short time frame), requiring my husband & I to seek both individual counseling and marriage counseling which I have been unable to attend due to my work load, which I feel will continue to lead my marriage into a downward spiral.

Health Reasons:
In a matter of 3 months I have gone from a size 8 to a size 1, dropping 33lbs due to the stress of the position and missing meals to ensure extra time to complete tasks (including working through lunch and taking work home and not eating with my family or at all on some nights)

Due to Unsuitable work:
When I was hired I was told that I would be able to work from home a couple of times a week. Since I transferred properties in July of 2009 I have only worked from home >7-8 days total and only due to weather or illness. I was also told that my second virtually runs itself, however this has been the property that I have had the most issues with including a 100% file review in which I was required to make correction dating back to 2000 in some files, and almost double the average yearly turnover within the first 5 months. I have also had consistent resistance from a subordinate that has been well documented, this subordinate was given a final warning in November , this particular employee has since received numerous warning notices, 2 unsatisfactory performance reviews and continues to ignore direct orders and most recently make me feel unsafe working around him as he used his master keys to unlock a designated locked area for another female employee to express milk for her child

admin answers:

I think your unemployment will be denied. In fact, I know it will. In order to get unemployment when you quit your job, you would have to show an extreme circumstance occurred. Things such as racism and/or sexual advances from management or other employees. The reason you have described for wanting to quit your job are simply stress related and we all face stress in any job.

Now, what you could do is file a workers’ compensation claim and claim stress as your ailment. This is a long shot too. But if you have evidence that you and your husband have sought counseling and your work issues have been brought up in counseling with regards to your failing marriage, then you might have a chance. Also, if you are documented this employees behavior as being strange and affecting your mental state and also discussing this with a counselor then again this may help your claim. Even if the workers comp carrier deny your claim if you become attorney rep’d then your employer maybe more inclined to settle this claim with you. Although no employer can fire you for being injured on the job, most will try to get rid of you after a settlement comes about. This will be done by scrutinizing every little thing you do or don’t do.

John asks…

Who thinks this a scam?

I went on a website called kijiji looking for employers. I found a job that had a title that said $14.50/hourly, Easy Job, Pefect for Part Timers?.
In the descritop i just told me I would be able to work from home. I sent the owner of the ad an email asking what the job required, and telling them I am interested. In reply I got an email which said (*I put brakets infront of the stuff I thought should not be posted online*):

Hello (my name),

Thank you for responding. Due to the current recession, companies are feeling their websites are not interacting well with regular customers. Our company simply puts average consumers as yourself on their website and you review them online. You indicate to them things an average person would like and dislike. Its a really easy job, where you work at your own pace. The only credential we stress is when you do submit a review is to make sure it is well written and not gibberish.

Here at Prestigious Online Marketing, you get paid to surf the web. We are an international agency with over 240 employees world wide. Please register with the link below. Once you have logged on with our agency you will have an online timer on the bottom right hand of your screen. The control panel will indicate which sites to visit and who to send the email to.

Because you are located in Canada, our pay periods are every second Friday. If you start today (or this week sometime) your next pay day will fall on October 31. The cheques from Canada get mailed from Montreal on the Wednesday and almost always arrive on the Friday, or the following Monday. For website reviewers starting is $14.50 hourly, you must visit at least 3 of our network websites each hour. In order to qualify for a raise, you must submit at least 15 website reviews per 4 hour shift. You will receive an email and contact numbers before your first shift indicating your team leader. You are to report only to the team leader.

To keep track of your activity online, we use ProBabySitter Online Website Tracking / Hourly Worked Software. To log in simply use the user name and password indicated below. Your employee number will be (cant post it online)

Kylee asks…

Has anyone ever heard of “KESTREL LAUREL COMMUNICATIONS”?

Recently I appied to a job on Craigslist for a part time Admin job and received an email back from a James saying that they are reviewing my resume. They say the the company name is KESTREL LAUREL COMMUNICATIONS and you can do data entry from home. The “work from home” comment right there tipped me off that it is probably a scam but I just was curious if anyone else has received a similar email???

admin answers:

Most jobs on craigslist are unfortunately scams, if they ask you to pay them anything then its def a scam. And if they were a legit company dont you think they’d show up in a google search? I wouldnt trust any business that isn’t listed on various business sites, in the press, etc. A real communication firm would have thousands of hits on a google search

Alana asks…

U.S. Career Institute Medical Billing and Coding Specialist?

I had this packet sent to me in the mail. I NEED a job that will allow me to work at home from 10-2 everyday. Aparently, in the whole planet, no such job exists. Go figure. Anyway, I sent for this packet and checked out the reviews on line. People are saying that after you graduate from the program, you can NOT work from home. If I am not going to be able to work from home with this kit, then I’m not going to bother paying for it. If I ask THEM, they will do and say whatever they need to sell it to me. Yay for humanity and it’s constant need to screw people. Nothing is real anymore, its all lies and marketing. ANYWAY, does ANYONE out there have anything to say about this?? PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR AND DO NOT RESPOND UNLESS YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE COURSE AND HAVE THE EXPERIENCE OF WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS. OR if you know for sure of another way to make a living at home and set your own hours. DO NOT talk to me about paid surveys or any other scam the screw-u team has cooked up. I have not the time or patients for stupidity, please do not waste my time. If I sound bitter, thank this world, our species, and that cold heart bitch we call reality.

admin answers:

I don’t know of too many reputable schools that promise work after you graduate so I’m sure U.S. Career does not promise a job. It looks like from their website that they offer accredited training in many fields.

I find it interesting that you don’t have enough “time or patients for stupidity” but enough time to spout off without facts. . . If you did some research you would already know that Medical Billing has been done from home for years and Medical Coding (yes a separate skill set) is usually done in office. . . Just saying.

Happy trails!

Daniel asks…

Questions & Answers On Work From Your Home Office

Ken asks…

I now work from home full time for a company in Canada. Are there any extra things I can claim on my income tax

I was working at the office before, but now I am working from home full time doing the same as before but just from home. Are there anythings I can claim in my income tax that concern work from home arrangements?
Thanks in advance for your help!
James
I do all the work through my computer, do not meet clients, only talk to them on the phone. I get paid a salary and get a paycheck every 2 weeks. dont need any supplies, just some paper or pens once a year maybe. dont’ have to use my car.

admin answers:

To claim expenses for employment, you will need a “T2200 Declaration of Conditions of Employment”, signed by your employer. What you can claim will depend on what the employer ticks off, and whether or not you earn commission. You can get the T2200 here: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/t2200/README.html

You can get the “T4044 Employment Expenses 2006″ here: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pub/tg/t4044/README.html
It claims to have forms – it doesn’t, but it does explain all the possible things you can claim on your income tax for employment expenses.

The form, “T777 Statement of Employment Expenses” can be found here: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/t777/README.html
